We are proud to share our own Irma Osuna’s weight loss success story, a member of the Grimmway family for 25 years!
At 55, Irma Osuna, thought she was too old to begin exercising and believed it was too late to change her lifestyle. However, she decided to approach weight-loss with a go-getter attitude and has now lost 64 pounds!
In the beginning Irma struggled to exercise as she was not able to complete the routines. But when a doctor’s visit concluded she had borderline diabetes, she realized it was time to make the change. She began walking little by little…and now runs every day. She also participates in weekly classes held at the Grimm Gym including Zumba and group sessions with a private trainer. In addition to her workout regimen, her diet changed drastically, now filled with fresh fruit and vegetables (especially carrots!), salads, and fish. Her husband helps keep her motivated as he joined her on this journey of living a healthier lifestyle.
Irma says she “feels blessed to be working at Grimmway, a company that truly cares about the health of their employees. This company has given me the opportunity to exercise more regularly and become healthier. Since I have made the change, I like the way I feel about myself, I have more energy and now have the ability to play football and basketball with my grandchildren…things I could have never done before. I strongly believe if I can do it, everyone can do it.”
